How are advisers assigned?

A

Upon completion of the application process, each student is assigned an academic adviser.  The assignment is made in the Admissions Office. Changes of major and adviser are made in the Records Office. Whenever possible, each adviser will be assigned no more than 25 first-time freshman advisees.  If you have any questions about your advisees or the assignment system, please call Shannon Tucker at extension 7290.
