What is a full-time student?

A

In order for a student to be full-time he/she must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours.  A normal full-time load is 15 to 18 hours.  Co-Op and EDU courses may be used as part of the full-time load, but not for Pell Grant purposes.

What is a part-time student?

A

A student enrolled in 11 semester hours or less is considered part-time.  A part-time student pays by the semester hour plus a registration fee.
