International Admissions

The college reserves the right to determine the number of foreign students to be admitted and to change policies stated herein when deemed necessary.

A limited number of foreign students who meet the following requirements will be accepted for admissions to the college. All of the requirements must be completed four (4) months prior to the beginning of classes for the semester in question in order to permit time for forms required by the Immigration and Naturalization Service of the United States Department of Justice to be completed and approved.

  • Complete an application for admissions.
  • Provide final transcript of high school work and/or all transcripts for each college attended (in English).
  • Provide a passing score on “Test of English as a Foreign Language” (TOEFL).

  • Copy of a valid passport
  • Submit a Sponsor Declaration Form. Total expenditures including tuition, fees, dormitory fees, and meal tickets must be paid at the time of registration.
  • Proof of comprehensive medical health insurance coverage.
  • Must be interviewed by the Admissions Committee.
  • Copies of students VISA and Passport.
  • Provide scores on ACT (can be taken once student has arrived at college)
  • Port of Entry information upon arrival at campus.

 

EXEMPTION FROM ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT
Completion of intensive English training or English composition courses at a U.S. college does not waive the IELTS/TOEFL requirement. Only students who are citizens of the following are automatically exempt from this requirement:

  • Australia
  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Bahamas
  • Barbados
  • Belize
  • Bermuda
  • British Virgin Islands
  • Canada
  • Cayman Islands
  • Dominica
  • England
  • Grenada
  • Guyana
  • Jamaica
  • Monteserrat
  • New Zealand
  • Northern Ireland
  • Republic of Ireland
  • St. Vincent and the Grenadines
  • Trinidad and Tobago
  • Turks and Caicos Islands
  • Wales

Citizens of Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa, and Swaziland are only exempt if English is listed as the first language on the Senior Certificate.
