*BRAD BOYETTE
Assistant Football Coach/Offensive Line Coach
Coach Brad Boyette will again be in charge of the Tiger offensive line in 2006.
Boyette came to Northeast in 2003 from Horn Lake High School where he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for Coach Wilkerson. The duo worked together for three years and fielded an offense in 2002 that led the state in scoring and yards per game.
Over the last three seasons, Boyette’s offensive lines played a major role in the transformation of a traditionally conservative Tiger offense into one of the most potent attacks in the state. Last season the Tigers ranked tenth in the country in total offense, racking up 399 yards per game.
A Holly Springs native, Boyette also coached at Olive Branch High School for five years under the legendary Leslie Pool and at Holly Springs High School.
Described by Wilkerson as a tireless worker, Coach Boyette has sent many offensive linemen on to the next level, including first team All-State selections Hollis Hoskins (Arkansas Tech) and Antezdra Thigpen (North Alabama) from last year’s team.
Boyette is a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He and his wife, the former Lee Braddock of Southaven, have two children; Lara and Asa.
