BRAD BOYETTE
Defensive Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator

After a four-year stretch as NEMCC's offensive line coach from 2003-2006, Brad Boyette made the move to the defensive side in 2007 as the Tigers' defensive coordinator.
Boyette enters his seventh year on the sidelines helping guide the Northeast Tigers.

Boyette came to Northeast in 2003 from Horn Lake High School where he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for former Northeast offensive coordinator David Wilkerson. The duo worked together for three years and fielded an offense in 2002 that led the state in scoring and yards per game.

During the 2003-2006 seasons, Boyette’s offensive lines played a major role in the transformation of a traditionally conservative Tiger offense into one of the most potent attacks in the state.

During the 2006 season, the Tigers ranked tenth in the country in total offense, racking up 399 yards per game.

A Holly Springs native, Boyette also coached at Olive Branch High School for five years under the legendary Leslie Pool and at Holly Springs High School.
Described by Wilkerson as a tireless worker, Boyette has sent many offensive linemen on to the next level, including first team All-State selections Hollis Hoskins (Arkansas Tech) and Antezdra Thigpen (North Alabama).

Boyette is a graduate of the University of Mississippi.
He and his wife, the former Lee Braddock of Southaven, have two children; Lara and Asa.
