• Mills hit .341 with three homeruns and 35 RBI as a senior for Coach Richy Harrelson at Lafayette Co. High School
• As a left handed pitcher, Mills was 6-3 with a 3.33 ERA in 2007
• Jake helped lead the Commodares to the MHSAA Class 4-A State Title as a junior
