CLINTON'S ROB TADLOCK SIGNS WITH TIGERS
May 8, 2007
CLINTON, Miss.-- Just shortly after Clinton High School catcher Phillip Chapman put his name on the dotted line with Northeast Mississippi Community College, Arrows' senior outfielder Rob Tadlock followed suit by signing a letter of intent to play baseball for the Tigers beginning in the fall of 2007.
Tadlock is a speedy outfielder who helped lead the Arrows into the quarterfinals of the 5-A State Playoffs this season.
"Rob is a great pick up for us," said NEMCC head coach Kent Farris. "He's an outstanding kid, on and off the field, who comes from a wonderful family. Rob runs really well and can cover some ground in the outfield, as well as steal some bases. He's a winner, and I'm so proud he chose Northeast."
Along with a slugging percentage of .505, Tadlock batted .398 this season with eight doubles, two triples, and one homerun. He totaled 12 stolen bases for coach Eddy Lofton's team this past season.
