TIGERS SIGN TISHOMINGO COUNTY'S KENNEDY
May 15, 2007
IUKA, Miss.--Northeast Mississippi Community College head baseball coach added another signee to his 2007 class on Tuesday, when Tishomingo County outfielder Seth Kennedy inked with the Tigers.
Kennedy batted .395 with three homeruns and 30 RBI this past season for Coach Jerry Long’s Braves. Coupled with 12 stolen bases on ’07, Kennedy’s totals were good enough to earn him All-Division honors for the second straight season.
“Seth is a solid outfielder,” said NEMCC head coach Kent Farris. “He loves the game, and is a hard worker. He’s the kind of guy you want on your team. He had a good year at the plate during his senior season, made some big improvements, and I think he’ll continue to improve at Northeast.”
During his career at Tishomingo County Kennedy batted .398 and totaled nine career homeruns.
