BOONEVILLE, Miss.-- Northeast Mississippi Community College’s nationally ranked baseball team will host an open tryout for those interested in playing for the Tigers and head coach Kent Farris. The tryout will be held on Friday, April 25, at 3 p.m. at Harold T. White field in Booneville.

Upon the conclusion of his high school team’s season, any unprotected, unsigned high school senior is encouraged to attend.

“This tryout is for seniors that are looking for a place to play next year,” said Farris. “We’ll hold another tryout at a later date for players on high school teams that are still playing in playoff games at that time.”

Registration for tryout participants will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Harold T. White field in Booneville, on Friday, April 25.
