2006-07 STATE/REGION CHAMPS RECEIVE RINGS

 BOONEVILLE, Miss.-- Northeast Mississippi Community College golfers from last season's 2006-07 State and Region XXIII championship team received their championship rings during pregame ceremonies at Keenum Stadium just prior to the Tigers' kickoff against Itawamba Community College.

"The kids are really excited," said coach Craig Lauderdale, who earned Region XXIII Coach Of The Year honors for his efforts last season. "They've been waiting all summer to get their hands on their rings, and to get them while being recognized before the game, in front of a huge crowd was really special."

Members of last year's team included Curt Butler, Jared Harding, Jared Hight, Derek Devaughn, Tyler Ryan, Hunter Shipman, and Chase Williams.
