LADY TIGERS COME UP SHORT

BOONEVILLE, Miss.-- The Northeast Mississippi Community College lady basketball team fell short at Northwest Shoals Community College (Ala.) on Tuesday, November 4, 2008.

In the women’s affair, the Northwest Shoals Lady Patriots opened their home season with an 84-66 win over the Lady Tigers.

Northeast had a tough time from the floor against Northwest Shoals converting on just 7-of-37 from the floor in the first half and finished the game 21-of-83 from the hardwood.

Lady Tiger freshman guard Bionca Hill, from Corinth, continued her hot start to the season tossing in 23 points and pre-season third team All-American Eboni Crayton, a sophomore guard from McNairy Central (Tenn.) tallied 16 in the game for the Lady Tigers.
