NEMCC WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ANNOUNCES OPEN TRYOUT
BOONEVILLE, Miss. – Northeast Mississippi Community College women’s basketball team will hold an open tryout for anyone interested in joining the Lady Tigers’ team for the 2009-10 season on April 20.
Northeast women’s basketball coach Ricky Ford led the Lady Tigers to a berth in the Mississippi Association of Community/Junior Colleges’ (MACJC) State Tournament in 2008-09 before bowing out to Region XXIII runner-up Copiah-Lincoln in the first round.
Tryouts will be held on the campus of Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville on Monday, April 20 at 5 p.m.
Prospective athletes need to bring their own practice attire to participate.
