NORTHEAST BASEBALL OPEN TRYOUT

BOONEVILLE, Miss.--Northeast Mississippi Community College baseball coach Kent Farris has announced that his team will host an open tryout on Friday, May 23, for any unprotected, unsigned high school seniors that were unable to attend Northeast's tryout held on April 25 due to their teams competing in postseason playoffs.

"The first tryout in April (25) was for kids whose seasons had already ended," said Farris. "This tryout on May 23 will give us a chance to meet and evaluate some kids whose teams advanced deep into the (high school) playoffs."

NEMCC's baseball tryout on May 23 will begin at 12 noon. Interested participants should report to Harold T. White field in Booneville for registration prior to the tryout's start.
