NORTHEAST BASEBALL PREPPING FOR ALUMNI WEEKEND
Old-Timers Game highlights one-day affair
BOONEVILLE, Miss. --Plans are being
made for the firstever Northeast Mississippi
Community College “Baseball Alumni Weekend” on Saturday, November
8 according to Tiger head coach Kent Farris.
Coach Farris and 2008 Tiger baseball team extends an invitation to anyone
who has been a part of Northeast baseball to come and join them at this
inaugural event.
Several events are on schedule and one of the main attractions is the
“Oldtimers
Game” that will display the skills of former baseball players from
the past, and should be fun for both the players and the spectators.
Also on the schedule for the day will be a free fish fry open to all former
players and coaches.
Anyone attending the event can purchase a plate for $10.

Head Coach Kent Farris would like to encourage preregistration online
so tshirt sizes can be determined and he would also like to have an idea
on the number of people that will be attending this event.
You can also register at 10 a.m. at Harold T. White Field inside Booneville
City Park.

10 a.m. Registration of former players
10:30 a.m. Batting Practice
11:30 a.m. Introduction of former Tiger players and coaches
11:45 a.m. Alumni Game
2:00 p.m. Fish Fry (free to former players and coaches, ($10 per plate
for others)
Please join the Tiger baseball team and Coach Farris as they host the
Inaugural Baseball Alumni Weekend on November 8, 2008 at Harold T. White
Field in Booneville starting at 10 a.m.
