Thursday, January 15 marked the first day that high schoolers in those two sports could sign with two-year colleges. Northeast Head Baseball Coach Kent Farris added five recruits to the 2009-10 baseball team when Corinth’s Jordan Gurley, Ingomar’s Josh Hodges, Tishomingo County’s Seth George and Ripley’s Will Wallis all accepted offers to play for the Tigers.
