NORTHEAST BASEBALL SHUFFLES WEEKEND LINE-UP

 BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- Northeast Mississippi Community College Head Baseball Coach Kent Farris has announced changes to his weekend baseball line-up at Harold T. White Field.

Due to inclement weather forecasted for the Booneville area over the weekend, Farris has had to scratch Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College from the line-up and shuffle the Tigers match-up with John C. Wood Community College (Ill.).

Northeast has already seen the cancellation of the Ninth Annual Northeast Softball TigerFest schedule for this weekend but Farris said the Tigers would at least play on Sunday.

The veteran Tiger mentor is waiting on word from officials to see if the Tigers can move their game with John C. Wood from a 5 p.m. affair on Saturday up to a 1 p.m. first pitch.

Farris pointed out that with the inclement weather moving out of the area on Sunday, the Tigers would take the field at their regularly scheduled time of 1 p.m. against John C. Wood.
