TIGERS POUND CO-LIN FOR 23-POINT VICTORY

WESSON, Miss.-- The Northeast Community College men's basketball team won 78-55 at Co-Lin on Monday night.

The Tigers' Ken Moore led all scorers with 19 points and William Burdette of New Albany and Travis Lee added 16 and 13 points respectively for the Tigers, who improve to 7-5 on the season.

"It was a good win for us on the road," said Northeast head coach David Robbins. "Our kids set the tone early on the defensive end." Northeast shot close to 61 percent from the floor in the game.

(W) Co-Lin 78, Northeast 56: Co-Lin cruised past the Lady Tigers, who fall to 3-7 on the year.

Northeast's Erica Grayson led all scorers with 19 points.

"The real season starts now because division plays starts (Monday)," said Lady Tigers head coach Ricky Ford. "We're playing good defense, but we're just not playing well offensively. We're struggling to score points."
