TIGERS CRUISE TO WIN; EVEN DIVISION RECORD @ 1-1

BOONEVILLE, Miss.-- Northeast Tigers' sophomore guard Travis Lee (Tallahassee, FL) scored 17 of his 22 points in the second half, and that combined with three other Tigers in double-figures would be enough to give NEMCC a 73-62 North Division win over visiting Coahoma CC on Thursday night, January 10, at Bonner Arnold Coliseum.

Lee, who came in averaging 20.9 points per game, hit three 3-point baskets on the night, and went 9-of-11 from the free throw line.

In addition to Lee's 22, Northeast (8-6, 1-1) got 13 from Ken Moore (Tallahassee, FL), 12 from William Burdette (New Albany), and 11 from Buck Johnson (Ripley).

The Tigers will travel to face two-time defending state champion Holmes CC on Monday, January 14 at 8 p.m.
