NEMCC TENNIS CLINIC DATE CHANGED
July 28, 2008, at Northeast Miss. Community College

BOONEVILLE, Miss. --Northeast Mississippi Community College has moved its originally scheduled July 11 Tennis Clinic back to Monday, July 28, the college announced on Thursday.

Rising 7th through 12th graders are encouraged to attend. Areas that will be covered during the one-day clinic are footwork, point play, match play, strategies, and drills that players can do on their own time. Session one on July 28 will be for 7th through 9th graders and will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. Tenth through 12th graders will participate in the 2nd session from 11a.m. – 1p.m. Registration will begin that morning at 8:30a.m. at the Northeast Mississippi Community College tennis courts. Cost to participate is $35.

The instructional staff will be tennis pros Michael Johnson from Chickasaw Country Club and M.J. Garnett from Windyke Country Club along with some NEMCC players and Coach Ricky Smither.
