Project Administrator, Reengineering and Training Consultant: Collaborated with team to develop an Executive Action Plan for a reengineered work environment utilizing imaging technology in a $300 million insurance company in Baton Rouge, LA (Louisiana Worker’s Compensation Corporation) from February to August 1995. 

  • Communicated with numerous project teams concerning responsibilities, milestones, resources, tasks, dependencies, duration, and critical paths.
  • Maintained data in Microsoft Project 4.0.
  • Developed project files and documentation.
  • Conducted structured interviews of managers and supervisors. 
  • Developed training needs assessment of present training programs.
  • Conducted an analysis of corporate forms. 

1989—1995

Training and Sales Coordinator: Advanced Systems Management, Inc. Baton Rouge, LA.  ASMI developed laboratory information systems (LIMS)  ASMI sold systems in the U.S.A. and foreign countries.  Full-time from December 1992 to January 1995, and part-time 1989-1992. 

  • Responsible for sales in Eastern U.S. from October 1994 to January 1995. 
  • Trained clients and new employees.
  • Developed interactive computer-based training programs.
  • Wrote technical manuals describing software functions.
  • Designed brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and a logo.
  • Prepared business plans, sales support materials and press releases.
  • Worked in trade shows, and designed trade show booths. 

Training Consultant: Performed a Training Needs Assessment of a $300 million insurance company from March to April 1993

  • Conducted structured interviews of all managers. 
  • Constructed and administered a survey of all employees. 
  • Consulted managers concerning a training strategy.
