| Designed to provide specialized
occupational instruction in all phases of hotel and restaurant
management and to prepare students for careers as manager or
supervisors in the hospitality and tourism industry. The program
meets the needs of students who want to develop the skills
necessary to enter the hospitality industry at the mid-management
level, and persons already employed in the industry who need
additional competence for possible advancement.
Completion of the two-year program leads to an Associate of
Applied Science Degree. Students who successfully complete
four Core Topic ManageFirst Certifications and one Foundation
Topic Certification will qualify to receive a
ManageFirst Certification from the National Restaurant Association Educational
Foundation. |

including e-business, international marketing, and multimedia
presentations This program prepares students for careers in
dynamic marketing professions. A combination of class work and
practical experience is stressed.
Completion of this two-year program leads to an Associate of
Applied Science Degree.
Along with the specialized courses, the program offers the
student a chance to get work-based learning experiences and to
grow through extra-curricular activities. |
