You will have an entire two-bedroom efficiency apartment to yourself, staffed by students and faculty in the college's Hotel and Restaurant Management Program.

Our duplex has two units which offer first class amenities:

We also have two other units that we operate on the campus of the Northeast Mississippi Community College: a single hotel room, WA 300; and a double hotel room, WA 302, in the Waller Technical Center. These units are used for guests of the college and for overflow of our Tiger Bed & Breakfast units.
 
 

Hotel and Restaurant Management Technology

Northeast's Hotel and Restaurant Management Technology program is designed to provide specialized occupational instruction in all phases of hotel and restaurant management to prepare students for careers as managers/supervisors in the hospitality and tourism industry:

v     Identification and observation of duties and responsibilities of personnel in the hospitality industry

v     Study of functions pertaining to front office operation and housekeeping department administration in a hotel

v     Management of inventories and control of expenses and utilization of supervisory and human   resources management techniques

v     Application of marketing methodologies to the hospitality industry

v     Application of the principles underlying the selection, composition, and preparation of major food  products and beverage service techniques

Booneville is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains off U.S. Highway 45 approximately 30 miles from both the Tennessee and Alabama state lines.  It is a short drive from the major recreation areas on the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway, the 8,000-acre Bay Springs Lake and Pickwick Dam. Booneville is 30 miles from Tupelo, Mississippi and 90 miles from Memphis, Tennessee.
