What is the Praxis I test?
Praxis I is an academic skills assessment designed for potential teachers to take early in their college career to show proficiency in mathematics, reading, and writing. The test is offered in both paper-based and computer-based formats. It is advisable to take this test your freshman year or even prior to entering college.
Who has to take Praxis I?
Education majors planning to attend senior college is
A student with an ACT score of 21 with no sub score below 18 upon entrance into college will be exempt from taking the Praxis I.

Note that there is no longer a scoring difference for
