On Friday, May 9, 2008, The Northeast Mississippi Community College will graduate approximately three hundred technical and vocational students including Registered Nurse candidates.  The Office of Student Job Placement, in conjunction with the Department of Associate Degree Nursing and the Mississippi Workforce Investment Network (WIN) Center, is hosting an Employment Job Fair.

This event is designed to assist employers with their recruiting as well as to provide a placement service for our prospective graduates and other targeted adults.

The Employment Job Fair will be held in Bonner Arnold Coliseum.  This is the first building on the left when coming onto Cunningham Boulevard from 2nd St./MS. 145.  The time frame is 9:30-11:30 a.m.  Each employer will be provided a space at no cost.  Employer representatives/recruiters are to make themselves available to provide information, accept resumes, take applications and talk to participating students.

Since the site for this event is in the coliseum, one disadvantage to some recruiters is that there will be no electricity available.  Please take that into consideration when planning your props.  Also, be reminded that you can request a table.  The dimensions of those will be 8’ x 2 ½’.

As always, it will be our pleasure to provide reserved parking and refreshments.   We hope to be able to offer you a complimentary cafeteria lunch.  Confirmation on that will be given at a later date or on the morning of the event.
