Spring
2010 Online Registration
Pre-registration for returning students will open Tuesday, November
17, 2009. Students will need to meet with their advisor before signing
up for any class.
Fall
Online Course Withdrawal extends from October 19th -- November 6th.
If you need to withdraw from one or all of your online courses,
you have until November 6, 2009, at 3:00 to have completed the process.To
withdraw from a course or from college, please fill out the appropriate
form by visiting the
Distance Learning Withdrawal website and fax it to 662-720-7763
or come by the Distance Learning Office in Hargett Hall for assistance.

classes offered on the NEMCC campus. Please pay special attention
to the dates listed on this website as they pertain to your virtual

You are strongly encouraged to verify your course registration
both in MSVCC as well as TigerLine. Both systems should match. To
check your online classes and to view the course textbook and syllabus,
access your student
profile. If you realize there is a problem with your
schedule or if you wish to make changes, please contact the DL office.

Get an early start with your online classes by becoming familiar
with Blackboard and the setup of your courses. The Blackboard
Tutorial is designed to be a guide that will walk you step-by-step
through key areas such as instructor information, course syllabus,
assignments, exams, and how to submit assignments. Please take
a few minutes to explore this tutorial so you can get off to
a great start with your virtual classes.
Readi
Assessment
Before registering for online classes, please take the READI
Assessment to determine if virtual classes
are right for you. READI is a web-based tool which assesses
a learner's likelihood for succeeding in an online learning
program. READI indicates the degree to which an individual student
possesses attributes, skills and knowledge that contribute to
success in online learning.
