PTK MEMBERS WORK AT CORINTH SCHOOL

Several members of Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Iota Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa recently partnered with the Keep Corinth Beautiful project to assist with cleaning up the grounds at West Corinth Elementary School. The Iota Zeta chapter at Northeast recently competed in a five category regional program that has potential to impact schools, bodies of water and plant life. One of the five categories “My America Refaced” was achieved through partnering with a “Keep American Beautiful” affiliate to complete a service project. Andrea Rose, coordinator of the Alliance’s Keep Corinth Beautiful, coordinated the partnership with the PTK chapter.
