Algebra Help  has well written lessons, worksheets of practice problems, and calculators which allow you to input various algebraic expressions and then show you step by step how to solve them. Algebra.com has well written audio/visual lessons, problem solvers (similar to the calculators discussed above), and much more.  Check out especially their Universal Simplifier and Solver. Purplemath has a very extensive set of well written lessons and links to other algebra sites on the web. The West Texas A&M University Virtual Math Lab has a very extensive set of well writen lessons.
