Application Management SystemThe on-line Applicant Management System is a "One call, One connection, One contact" value added service to our regional clients. Our website was designed to be a simple, user-friendly, and secure resource for employers and job seekers. The community college provides quality educational services to both proven labor force members who are seeking new careers due to lay-offs or personal goals through WIA funding and to traditional college students; future members of the workforce. Our affiliation with the WIN Job Center provides opportunities for their candidates to have a broader selection of jobs and employers a broader selection of qualified candidates. We are also the regional provider of comprehensive workforce training to Business and Industries through our Division of Workforce Training and Economic Development. The website is the natural link that completes the provisional chain of workforce solutions. Business and Industry partners are provided a venue to post their current employment needs and access to resumes of trained and qualified individuals. Our resume database includes recent career/technical graduates and soon to be graduates, who are skilled in the latest practices and technology. The database also includes individuals enrolled in the WIN program who are seeking employment. The system allows employers to search the applicant pool for candidates who have targeted their resumes by their company name. In addition, the Applicant Management website offers on-line Pre-employment assessment screening services. No more shuffling through mountains of paperwork to find just the right candidate. We can conduct group assessments of potential employees and post the results to our website for you to screen electronically. Furthermore, these candidates' resumes can be added to our database and accessed by you either as a group or individually. Just print the resumes and assessment scores of the best "fit" candidates. Recent graduates and current WIN participants will benefit from having their resumes listed on a broadly viewed site and access to a database of job openings from regional employers who only want the best employees for their teams. All graduate candidates are required to attend an orientation provided through the Student Success Center that covers resume writing, interviewing and employability skills before being granted access to the site. WIN participants are given Job Search and Resume Writing tips during their registration. We do this to try to ensure that a quality "product" is being presented.
