Blackboard Login Instructions

1. Type http://nemcc.blackboard.com into your browser.  The following window should  appear:

2.  Left-click in the username box and type in your username.

(Your username will be the first letter of your first name, your last name, and the last 4 digits of your social security number.  The first letter of your first name and the first letter of your last name must be capitalized.)

                        Example:  John Smith 123-45-6789

                       Your username would be JSmith6789

3.  Left-click in the password box and type in your password.  It will be the same as your username.

(Your username will be the first letter of your first name, your last name, and the last 4 digits of your social security number.  The first letter of your first name and the first letter of your last name must be capitalized.)

                        Example:  John Smith    123-45-6789

                        Your username would be JSmith6789

4.  Click login.

How To Change Your Blackboard Password

1. Login to Blackboard

2. Click on the Courses tab

3. Under Course List, click on a course name to access a course. (hint: it doesn’t matter which course you choose your password will be changed for every course)

4. Click on Course Tools in the left menu area

5. Click on Personal Information

6. Click on Change Password

7. Enter new password

8. Verify by re-entering password

9. Click on Submit
