NE announces art gallery schedule

Northeast has set its 2008-09 ArtGallery schedule for next year and it includes a multitude of talent.
From a former NE art instructor to a journalist and photographer, Northeast is offering a variety of artistic displays for viewers’ enjoyment.
Former Northeast art instructor Marty McLendon opens up the 2008-09 season with his exhibit from September 3-October 13.
Journalist Don Lee Keith follows McLendon’s showing on October 20-November 28 while Dr. George Housley shows off his photography prowess when his work hits the walls on January 26-February 20.
Northeast’s Cultural Arts Committee sponsors Keith’s exhibit in 2008.
Two art competitions wrap up the year. The annual high school art competition hangs from March 6-March 30 while Northeast’s annual student art competition and exhibit finishes the year from April 7-May 1.
Northeast’s art gallery is located in Anderson Hall off Veterans Blvd. in Booneville. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. until 3 p.m
