White, Yarber halls lack representatives
By Bailey Smith, Staff Writer
Northeast’s Student Government Association are once again holding fall elections for representatives to the SGA Council.
On September 2-5, students were allowed to sign up in the Housing Office in the Union in order to campaign.
Campaign days are September 8-16.
Currently, the sophomore candidates are Brad Howell, Stephanie Kiddy, Brandy Williams, Kellyn Hatfield, and Brent Johnson.
Freshmen candidates include Ward Bynum, Brianna Hill, Dylan Parrish, Ali Ballard, and Courtney Sims.
Running for dorm representatives for Mississippi Hall are Sara Beth Michael and Jessica Friar.
Murphy Hall and Wood Hall both have only one candidate for representative. Laura Fly will be Murphy’s candidate, and Cassandra Smith is running for Wood.
White and Yarber Hall do not currently have candidates for representatives. Interest can be expressed in this at the Housing Office in the Union.
The SGA Representatives election will be held online at Northeast’s website on September 16. Out of the freshman and sophomore classes, three representatives will be elected from each. One representative will be elected from each dormitory.
