Northeast’s
Phi Theta Kappa is offering students a way to boost their grade
point average (GPA).
Honors Forum is an academic class that anyone can join at the beginning
of each semester.
It is a great GPA boost for anyone that may need it. This class
meets approximately three times each semester.
During a regular honor forum class, students watch an intellectual
movie and then have a discussion over the main points of the film
that they have just witnessed.
Students are also required to keep a journal of the films they watch
during the honors forum.
Classes began on October 20 in Hines Hall and the Phi Theta Kappa
has two more honors forum classes set up for this semester.
The next class will take place in Hines Hall Room 1 while the final
Honors Forum will be held in the Hines Hall Auditorium on November
3 during activity period (10:50 a.m. until 12:10 p.m.)
