Seventy-one
young women will compete for the title of ‘Most Beautiful’
at Northeast as the college hosts its annual Parade of Beauties
on Tuesday, November 10, in the Seth Pounds Auditorium.
"We have 71 girls who are vying for the title of Most Beautiful
at Northeast,” said Adult Basic Education (ABE) Director Pam
Meeks, who oversees the pageant. “We are planning an exciting
night of modeling and traditional pageant activities."
The annual pageant, sponsored by Northeast's Student Government
Association (SGA), allows young women to compete for the honors
of Most Beautiful, Most Photogenic and Scholastic awards.
Northeast ABE/GED assessment specialist Dale Michael will emcee
the event and 2008 Most Beautiful Sara Beth Michael will crown the
winner of this year's pageant.
The pageant is set for 7 p.m. Admission is $5 and doors will open
at approximately 6 p.m.
