Sasha
Fierce’s latest album “I Am… Sasha Fierce”
hits all the high points.
Of course,
Fierce is the “alter-ego” of R&B mega star Beyonce
Knowles, and with each track on her newest compilation she expresses
the diva within herself.
“I Am…
Sasha Fierce” features such songs as “Ego,” “Diva”
and the anthem “Single Ladies (Put a ring on it).”
One of my favorite
songs on the album is “Smash into You.” It is the love
song of all love songs. The song talks about finding that special
person and never letting them go, figuratively smashing into them.
Another one
of my favorite songs is the hugely popular “Single Ladies
(Put a Ring on It).” The song simply states, “If you
like, then you should put a ring on it.”
Women and some
men all around the world were singing this song. Alike the song,
the video was simple and creative.
In the video,
the singer donned a one-shoulder leotard, and a black and white
background. The popularity of the video produced a plethora of YouTube
tributes and imitations.
If you do not
have the album, get it. It will be money well spent.
