Taylor Swift
pulled off a Country Music Awards (CMA) sweep on Wednesday, November
11.
Swift garnered
two awards as Entertainer of the Year and Female Vocalist of the
Year.
Swift competed
against Kenney Chesney, Brad Paisley, George Strait and Keith Urban
for Entertainer of the Year and pulled off the female upset.
Female Vocalist
of the Year finalists were Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba
McEntire, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood with Swift winning the
award.
Swift’s
second album “Fearless” is more personal that her first
album labeled “Taylor Swift.”
Her second
album is more soft-spoken and considerate, a big sister instead
of a big star.
Her newest
single "Fifteen," is exactly this.
It is a kind
warning for a teen to watch her heart sung from the perspective
of a woman who has been through this heartbreak and high school
time already.
Her gentle
touch is as enduring as her song writing and singing which makes
“Fearless” an even better album.
