Welcome week only a glimpse of what SGA has planned

Ali Ballard

The first few weeks of school have flown by!

Welcome week was only a glimpse of what SGA has planned for the 2009-2010 school year!

The luau at the pool was a wonderful experience; fun, food, and music made a great atmosphere to meet new classmates. Chillin' and Grillin' at our back-to-school cookout, watermelon Wednesday, and enjoying access to the swimming pool and Burgess center.

NE has so much to offer we just have to take advantage of it!

This past Thursday our cheerleaders, NE band, Tiger dancers, football team, faculty, and students gathered on the East Lawn of the Union for a pep rally and got us pumped about football season!

Thursday night lights really brighten a college town and bring the community together.

Whether we win or lose, we know how to have a good time - enjoying free pizza while tailgating before the game and cheering for our Tigers on the football field!

Tuesday night will be movie night at the pool! Jaws will be playing after dark!

Join in on all the fun and bring a friend! Stop by the student activities office to purchase a "Northeast Life is Good" t-shirt.
