NEW CHAPTERS (26 – 29)

1. Don't forget about drawing & labeling the nephron.

2. Expect a long list of reproductive system characteristics to sort out. Some will apply entirely to the female reproductive system, some entirely to the male reproductive system, and some to both systems.

3. There will be approximately 100 multiple choice questions.

4. Discussion topics (1 question on final, my choice):

Explain renal autoregulation—when it is used to control GFR and 2 ways it is done.

Explain how respiratory acidosis occurs and how the body compensates.

List the 3 phases of the menstrual cycle and explain what is happening in the uterus and the ovary in each.

Describe conditions that must be present in the renal medulla for production of a concentrated urine, and explain how these conditions are achieved.
