Chris LeDoux latest album is "After the Storm" following a life-changing event. He was diagnosed in the summer of 2000 with primary sclerosing cholangitis, a disease that can lead to liver failure. Doctors told him that he would have to have a liver transplant by October 2000. Chris teamed up with his producers Mac MacAnally and Alan Schulman who worked with him on his previous album, COMBOY.
His gratitude and unswerving love for his wife can be found in his songs like "Millionaire", "I Would for You", and "Daily Bread". LeDoux duets with longtime friend Garth Brooks very frequently, as in the song "Some Things Never Change". After his surgery, LeDoux let it be known to his fan club that Garth had offered to transplant part of his own liver for LeDoux. Their bond has been this tight since Garth’s song "Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old)". Brooks is the one that got him out and signed with Capital Records. He has released 12 albums and had 3 Gold albums, also sold nearly six million copies.
