Lacey Chabert

Lacey Chabert is regarded as one of the best young actresses of her generation. She is known for her cotton candy voice and has done several advertising jingles and animated films. Lacey was born on September 30, 1982 in Purvis, Mississippi. She started her career by competing in pageants and singing in school and church plays and was once awarded the title Miss Junior Mississippi.

Lacey was discovered by an agent at the age of nine while on vacation in New York with her family. She had her first appearance in a Triaminic cough syrup commercial in 1991. Her next role was in the New York production Les Miserables on Broadway as the young Cosette in 1991. That wasn’t all she accomplished that year; she was a finalist in the junior vocal competition on Star Search.

Lacey has appeared in television movies such as 1993’s Gypsy, A Little Piece of Heaven and the after school special, Educating Mom. She also played Bianca on the daytime soap opera All my Children.

Lacey received her first big screen role in 1998 in Lost in Space as Penny Robinson opposite Matt LeBlanc.

Of all Lacey’s roles she is best known for role as Claudia Salinger on the drama series Party of Five which won a Golden Globe in 1995 for Best Dramatic Series and was nominated for the same award in 1996.

Lacey now lives in California which is where her immediate family moved so Lacey could pursue her acting career. Lacey has one brother and two sisters.
