Stephen Kirkpatrick

                                               

Stephen Kirkpatrick has roamed Mississippi for over a decade capturing some of nature’s most beautiful and exciting photographs. Some of his 2,300 published photographs include images from all around the world.

Stephen’s love for wildlife dates back to his childhood when he was caring for unusual pets and operating a snake farm in his own back yard. He began to pursue photography when his father gave him his first camera in 1981. Stephen now lives in Madison, Mississippi, and roams the world with his camera.

Stephen has published numerous photographs for book covers, calendars, and magazines. Stephen and his wife, Marlo, have published several books telling of their adventures traveling  and photographing around the world. Some titles include Extreme Exposure, Romancing the Rain, and Journey into the Heart of the Amazon. Kirkpatrick has also won many national and international awards for his photography such as International Wildlife Photographer of the Year. He has appeared on several television specials for PBS, and hosts a segment on the Outdoor Channel called, "Adventure Bound Outdoors."

Stephen Kirkpatrick has captured the tranquility and unique inspiration that can only be found in the heart of nature. He is currently working on projects in the tropical areas and underwater photography.
